We are now accepting candidate applications for our board postions with expiring terms. The Hill Junior Gold Hockey Board of Directors works on behalf of the Hill Junior Gold membership to ensure the well-being and success of the association. The terms for two board positions are expiring this election cylce. Each person elected to one of the positions will serve a two-year term from July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2027.

President
Secretary
Duties of President. The president shall have general active management of the business of the corporation; when present, preside at all meetings of the board; see that all orders and resolutions of the board are carried into effect; submit to members at their annual meeting a report of the operation of the association; sign and deliver in the name of the corporation any documents, including checks, pertaining to the business of the corporation, and perform such other duties as prescribed by the Board of Directors and/or consistent with the management of the corporation and the overseeing of its activities.
Duties of Secretary. The Secretary shall attend all meetings of the Board of Directors and record all the proceedings of the meetings of the corporation and of the Board of Directors. The Secretary shall perform such other duties and have such other powers as the Board of Directors or the President shall from time to time prescribe.
Nomination Process and Election Timeline
Members interested in serving on the board should submit a written notice of interest (please specify the board position for which you intend to run), along with an email outlining your qualifications to John Celski by 11:59pm CDT on Tuesday, June 17th celskijohn@gmail.com
The board will announce candidates for election on Wednesday, June 18th.
Voting will take place, in person only, on Tuesday, June 24th from 4:00-6:00 at Aldrich Arena - east lobby. Election results will be shared via email later that evening.
